Chris Ackerson serves with TWR's men's ministry called Every Man A Warrior, and on today's Footsteps, Chris mentions "the ABCs of a quiet time."  They are:

A:  Ask Questions of the whole passage of Scripture that you are reading

B:  Pick a Best or Bullet Verse for meditation or to memorize

C:  Communicate with God

"The ABCs of a quiet time" seem to be a simple but effective way to get more out of your daily time with the Lord and His Word.  Give it a try.
