Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, in an 1977 New York Times Magazine interview, spoke about his motivation for making decisions:

"I have one life and one chance to make it count for something.  I am free to choose what that something is, and that something is my faith.  Now, my faith goes beyond theology and religion and requires considerable work and effort.  My faith demands—this is not optional—my faith demands that I do whatever I can, wherever I can, whenever I can, for as long as I can with whatever I have to try to make a difference." I hope we all want to "make a difference."  I know I do.  But, I don't want to make a difference that only impacts this temporary world; I want to make a difference in God's eternal Kingdom!  And, I'm not alone in this desire.  Jonathan Turner of Key Communications has been ministering to the people of Pakistan for decades.   He admits that at times, the work has been slow, but he knows for sure that Key Communications is making a difference among Muslims, and that thought makes Jonathan smile.
