In today's Footsteps, TWR's Ministry Director for Cuba, Alberto Gonzalez tells the story of a Cuban woman who gave a $25 gift to the Bonaire Power Up Project.  Alberto said, "It's a real sacrifice for her."  So, just how much of a sacrifice is it?  Let's put this $25 gift into perspective.  Alberto estimates that this woman makes about $10 per month.  That means her gift is the equivalent of two-and-a-half times her monthly salary.  According to a Fox Business report which used information from 2013, "the median household income in America across all jobs was $51,939." (1)  That translates to $4,328 per month.  Multiply that monthly amount by two-and-a-half, and you get a figure of $10,820.  Now do you understand why her gift was such a sacrifice?  May God abundantly bless this Cuban woman for her incredible generosity!
