On today's Footsteps, Camino Global missionary Dan Wicher tells the story of a dentist who came to his house in tears.  "She was facing a divorce; she had been caught in adultery."  And as she poured out her heart to Dan, he shared Jesus with her, and this weeping dentist prayed to receive Christ as her Savior.  But, Dan doesn't take any credit.  When you listen to today's program, notice the first words out of his mouth--"when I watch the Holy Spirit work..."  Dan understands that salvation is the work of the Holy Spirit, and we are merely the instruments through which the Lord speaks and moves.  Mark Dever puts it this way, "in our evangelism we must be partners with the Holy Spirit, presenting the gospel but relying on the Holy Spirit of God to do the true convicting and convincing and converting."(1)
