"To me, much of life...is discovering what God has for us to do," but Camino Global missionary Dan Wicher goes on to say on today's Footsteps that "many times people...never learn" God's purpose for their lives.  So how do we find what Dan calls that "sweet spot" for our lives?  In the first chapter of The Purpose Driven Life, pastor and author Rick Warren points out that "you cannot arrive at your life's purpose by starting with a focus on yourself.  You must begin with God, your Creator...You were made by God and for God...and life is about letting God use you for his purposes, not your using him for your own purpose." (1)  From that perspective, may we discover our purpose by looking to God, studying his character, growing "in the grace and knowledge" of him (2), excercising the gifts and talents that he has given us, and then exploring the paths upon which he is leading us.
