God Honors His Own Word
British theologian John Stott once said:
"Our claim is that God has revealed Himself by speaking; that this divine (or God-breathed) speech has been written down and preserved in Scripture; and that Scripture is, in fact, God's Word written, which therefore is true and reliable and has divine authority over men."(1)
The very words of God are perfect and powerful, and since the script of the Jesus film is solely the "true and reliable" Word of God, it makes sense that the Jesus film has proven to be a very effective tool for sharing the Gospel.
