The Solution
On today's Footsteps, TWR's David Carlsen gives an overview of Men of Courage--a TWR program created to share the Gospel with men from a Muslim background. Men of Courage begins with content that is "pre-evangelistic" and then moves toward "the solution" during a 20-30 minute talk-show portion of the program. Please pray for this strategic outreach to men!
Now, just today, I ran across an appropriate quote from The Task--a poem written by English poet and hymwriter William Cowper. In The Task, Cowper refers to "Knots worthy of solution, which alone a Diety could solve."(1) In our fallen world, each and every one of us has a "knot" that we can never untangle on our own. It's called SIN, and our sin separates us from a perfect and Holy God, and our sin ultimately condemns us to everlasting punishment in Hell. So is there any hope for our lost condition? While we can't solve our own sin issue, we can turn to the One who has "the solution" to our "knot" problem. His name is Jesus. My question to you today--Do you know Him? Have you ever asked Jesus to forgive you of your sin, save you from Hell, and take you to Heaven? If not, please click on the link below and watch a video about Knowing God.
