Many people boast about their home country and proudly wave their nation's flag.  Others brag about being from a particular state, region, clan, or family.  But for millions of women around the world, because of poverty, pain, and even physical abuse, their deep suffering has caused them to feel isolated and ashamed.  Their sense of belonging has been severed.

On today's Footsteps, TWR Women of Hope Global Director Susie Pek reminds hurting and brokenhearted women that they can be comforted, healed, and welcomed into a loving, eternal family.  How?  Through the redeeming work of Jesus!  Susie explains, "When we are in Christ, we have a new nationality."  The apostle Paul puts it this way:

"But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself." (Philippians 3:20-21, ESV)

Susie and the staff at TWR Women of Hope are constantly sharing the Good News of Jesus with marginalized women around the world.  Please pray for their lifechanging work.
