"In the vast majority of our languages, the listeners have no idea who J. Vernon McGee is," maintains Thru the Bible President and CEO Gregg Harris on today's Footsteps.  Why?  Gregg goes on to say, "because it's not about him; it's about the Word of God."  And I firmly believe that's one of the reasons that the radio program Thru the Bible has been so successful in over 100 languages.  The program is not centered around a human personality; it's focused on the everlasting Word of God.  The writer of Hebrews puts it this way:

"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12, ESV)

After you listen to today's conversation with Gregg Harris, I encourage you to pray for the partnership of Thru the Bible and TWR as we carry the Truth of Scripture around the world.
