Whether we're talking about radio, television, newspapers, the theater, or a church congregation, it's important for the speaker, writer, actor, or preacher to know his audience.  On today's Footsteps, Eddie Anderson, a missionary with African Inland Mission who works with BHB-Chalbi radio in Kenya, points out that it's "so important that we actually generate programs that are context specific."  I truly believe today's conversation can be helpful for all of us as we share the Gospel with others.  In the back of our minds, we must remember the background, environment, or context of our audience as we tell them about Jesus.  Eddie is not talking about being overly sensitive with our words or watering down the Gospel message.  As Eddie explains on today's program, "we've got to deal with where people are at the moment."  That simply makes sense.
