Dave Young is passionate about global missions because Dave has seen God work faithfully and powerfully on the mission field.  On today's Footsteps, this veteran Christian broadcaster remembers a specific missions trip that he took to the West African country of Liberia.  As you listen to Dave's story, keep in mind what the LORD told Joshua just before he lead the children of Israel into the Promised Land:

"Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9, NKJV)

The same God that gave strength and courage to Joshua is with believers today as we carry out Jesus' Great Commission:

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.'" (Matthew 28:18-19a)

So, have you been hesitant to follow the Lord's leading in this area of missions?  As Dave Young boldly states on today's Footsteps, God "is in charge, and you can go with that confidence."  Now is the time for obedience.  Now is the time to "go!"
