When a sports figure is known by one name, like Tiger or Pele, you're likely refering to a major star.  Recently, international soccer player, coach, and broadcaster Paulo Silas Pereira dropped by the TWR offices.  He was introduced to me simply as Silas.  Wow!  This guy played professionally in Brazil, Portugal, Uruguay, Italy, Argentina, and Japan.  Plus, he had the honor of playing for his home country of Brazil in the 1986 and 1990 FIFA World Cup matches.  All of Silas' accomplishments in the sporting world have given this humble man a platform to talk about his faith in Christ.  You'll hear about it on today's episode of Footsteps.

Now, I'm not nearly as well known as Silas, and likely, you aren't as famous either, but God has still given each one of us unique platforms, whether small or large, for sharing the Gospel with others.  May we all be ready and willing to seize these opportunities to tell others about Jesus.
