Women in Pakistan
Kate Mitchell spent several years living and teaching in the country of Pakistan, and on today's Footsteps, she gives us some insight into the lives of Pakistani women. Kate summarizes, "there's a lot of hurt in many women." But the good news is that we know that "The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You" (Psalm 9:9-10, NJKV). That's why we must broadcast the Gospel into Pakistan--so that these oppressed and forsaken women "will put their trust" in the LORD and find Him to be their personal Savior, refuge, and daily strength "in times of trouble."
