A-1 - Encouraged by What You Read?

"It's a great opportunity; God's opened it up."  That's the feeling of TWR President Lauren Libby concerning a project to add a second transmitter to our high-powered broadcasting facility in West Africa.  This new signal will be used to send the Gospel into Nigeria.  Now, one thing that I've noticed about Lauren is that when he believes that God is opening a door for TWR to expand our outreach, then he's ready for action!  He wants us to sieze the opportunity.  Why?  Because these doors of opportunity don't remain open indefinitely.  I believe his "let's go for it" attitude lines up with what Jesus told his disciples in John 9:4 (ESV).  Knowing that his time on earth was limited, Jesus said, "We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work."  So, as God gives us new opportunities, let's "work the works" of Jesus before it's too late.
