On today's Footsteps, Dr. Zenet Maramara of Asian Theological Seminary mentions a church with a congregation of 60,000.  No, it's not in the United States.  In fact, it's larger than any megachurch in the U.S.  This church is in the Philippines.  But, It's not the size of this church's membership role which excites me.  I'm encouraged to know that this huge church, called Victory, has planted dozens of churches in the Philippines and "has sent Filipino campus missionaries and church planters to serve as cross-cultural missionaries to countries across the globe."(1)  Victory is a perfect example of what Dr. Maramara has observed about her country: "From being a mission field, we are now a missionary-sending country."
