TWR missionary Nick Siemens was born in Siberia and grew up in Latvia.  On today's Footsteps, Nick said that "growing up in the Soviet Union," he felt like a "third-class citizen" because he was both from German lineage and a Christian, and yet, God has chosen to use Nick in a very valuable way in Kingdom work.  Now, I don't know your earthly citizenship status, but I'd like to remind you of what the psalmist sings in Psalm 147:2-3 (NKJV) concerning "outcasts":

The LORD builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.

If God can draw a "third-class citizen" like Nick into his loving and healing arms and appoint him for missionary service, our Heavenly Father can do the same for you!
