One negative for radio broadcasters is that we don't get immediate feedback from our listeners.  One positive for radio broadcasters is that we don't get immediate feedback from our listeners!  That's right--it goes both ways.  While we don't know who and how many are listening at any given time, I really think that can be a blessing in disguise.  As my college broadcasting professor once said, "Everyone in radio has some form of an ego."  So, if those of us behind the mic always received instant response from our audience, it probably would just feed our egos.  But then again, there are those special times, like in today's Footsteps with Maralina Alfonso of RTM-Paraguay, where God blesses us with an overwhelming response from our listeners.  May He be praised for knowing when we need that encouragement!
