The prophet Jeremiah cried out to the LORD:

"Your words were found and I ate them,
And Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart;
For I have been called by Your name,
O LORD God of hosts."  (Jeremiah 15:16, NASB)

God's Word is powerful!  Not only do we find joy through the Bible, it nourishes us and causes us to grow spiritually.  That's why I appreciate Pastor Anibal's testimony on today's Footsteps.  Because of the daily Bible teaching that is heard on TWR-Bonaire, this Cuban pastor echos Jeremiah's thought of eating God's Word.  Anibal remembers his grandfather gathering his family around the radio to listen to the broadcast of Thru the Bible.  "It marked my life to see how he used Trans World Radio for so many years to feed our family spiritually."
