In Revelation 5:8-9 (ESV), in the throne room of Heaven, "the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down beore the Lamb" and "sang a new song, saying, 'Worthy are you...for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.'"  I once heard a Bible teacher use this passage to talk about the incredible variety of people that is found in the body of Christ.  Not only does the Church contain people from every nation and language, the Church is made up of tall people, short people, introverts, extroverts, people with highly advanced degrees, and people with little or no formal education.  Let's add one more category--people who operate high-tech machinery and people who are using crude tools from "only about 30 years out of the stone age" as "Timothy," today's guest on Footsteps puts it.  May God be praised for sovereignly and lovingly assembling the most diverse group of people imaginable for His Kingdom!
