On this Live Q&A I dealt with questions about Enneagrams, Titus 2:11, breaking curses, demon possession, God creating the universe with age built into it, is sex outside of marriage sin, how to answer TULIP, and what to do about David’s cold!
Paul left Titus behind on the island of Crete to put things in order among the Christians and the churches there. This passage from Titus 1 explains why it was a difficult job - and how we should take on difficult jobs ourselves.
When Paul told Titus to appoint leaders for the churches on Crete, he didn't just mean anyone. He told Titus to look for men of strong, godly character. We learn a lot from a list like this.
Paul left his younger associate Titus behind on the island of Crete for a special job among the churches established all over the island. Here, Paul greets Titus and introduces the challenge.
On the Q&A video for this week, I respond to questions about Joseph’s brothers selling him into slavery, the fall of one-third of the angels, KJV and other translations, does God want us to be happy, if temptation will always come why do we pray that it won’t, and more!

Psalm 25 is a song from David, the King of Israel - and it is a cry for help from his humbled heart. This psalm not only shows us the reward of great trust in God, it also points us to the person and work of Jesus the Messiah.
In Psalm 18, David the King of Israel gives God beautiful praise, in response to the mighty help and deliverance God gave to David. This psalm teaches us how to praise God, and how to see the victory of Jesus accomplished in our life.
On today's live question and answer session, I dealt with questions about a child's understanding of Jesus' nature, the church and the covenants, dispensationalism, generational sin, my teaching notes, Peter and Paul observing Torah, the Euthyphro dilemma, and more!
Psalm 136 is a special psalm, with each one of its 26 verses repeating the sentence, His mercy endures forever. Throughout the Hebrew Scriptures, the phrase has somewhat of a liturgical sense to it, as if the assembled people of Israel said or sung this in response to the direction of the Levites leading singing and worship. We picture a great multitude of the people of God gathered in the temple courts. A priest or Levite would call out a reason to give God thanks, and His people would respond with, “For His mercy endures forever.”
Consider how great the mercy of God is, as it is expressed in the person and work of Jesus Christ throughout this wonderful psalm!
Psalm 100 is a psalm of thanksgiving, and it speaks of an invitation to the whole earth to know and to worship God.
Pastor David Guzik gives the what and why of giving praise and the what and why of giving thanks.
