When Christ calls an individual to Himself, He does so to set him or her apart from the world and sin so that God can truly and fully bless him. The purpose of this setting apart is to on the one hand to save the believer from worldliness. On the other it is to call him or her apart to know God's blessing in a unique, and effective way. It is a call to separated unto Christ, to know, love, and serve Him.
