To be prepared to meet Christ is to be right with Him, with nothing between. It is a clarity of mind and heart by which the believer can know with assurance the fellowship with Christ which He desires to give. Readiness is being in an attitude where all has been dealt with that would hinder communion with God, and one is abiding in Christ.
