In particular since Pentecost which followed soon after the resurrection and ascension of Christ, there has been a consistent, persistent call of God for those who are thirsting after righteousness, after God, and life eternal, to come to Christ. All who come are received and are given the grace of God to turn from independence from God, to trust Him wholly for forgiveness of sins, and new life.
