It has been said that God is not easily known. Why would one declare this? It is not because He hides Himself, but that He works in the heart and soul to realize the immense blessing and worth of coming to know Christ in an ever-increasing way. To know Christ is to pursue Him in the Scriptures and by the Spirit. Faithful obedience to His word, and living in the expectancy of His blessing, are essential if one is to overcome the obstacles of this world to know Him.
