The constancy of faith that the believer is to have and know has its basis in the unchanging, eternal character of God, who reveals Himself through His eternal word, and always works in answer to faith by the power of His Spirit. Faith in God, is faith in the Rock of ALL Ages, never shifting, or being altered by time and circumstance. God-given faith is that which overcomes all that is hurled against it, and this, by the grace of God.
