Essential to all else in the Christian life is the true worship of God in Spirit and truth. But it is not general, or impersonal worship, but that giving glory and honor to God our Creator and Redeemer, from a sincere heart that has been washed in the blood of the Lamb. It is also the praise and adoration of God in Christ according to the eternal truth of His word. At the very essence of it is the person of the Holy Spirit, directing our attention to the Father of creation, and Christ our Redeemer.
