How is it that God responded to Joshua's need for more time to conquer his foe, the enemy of Israel? It is because God found in Joshua someone humble enough to speak to the Lord concerning the need, but also, to believe Him in obedient faith to act under His authority. God found in Joshua a man whose heart was full of faith, and whole-heartedly obedient.
