In the story of Jonah we find that God saves Jonah, from himself, the Mariners who were on the ship with him, and the Ninevites to whom God was sending Jonah to proclaim His word to them. God in His sovereign grace and mercy would save them all. Why? And how can He use even the rebellion of one of His servants to accomplish this? It is because He is merciful, filled with grace, and perfect love.
