As one grows old, there is a knowledge given to him by God which apply to his age, and offer both a consolation and conviction that the way by which God has led him, was indeed the way of truth, and certainty. The song of the old man, or believer, is filled with faith, truth, and life. It is a song which never grows old, for it speaks of the present eternal, unchangeableness of God in His faithfulness.
