There is never a moment when the Lord Jesus is not present with the born-again believer. His Spirit is ever in the heart and soul of the believer, having become one with him at the moment of the new birth. However, to live in the reality of the presence of the Lord, and especially when two or three are gathered together in His name, one needs faith, faith to believe in the faithfulness of God to honor His word. This faith comes from looking unto Jesus who is also sitting at the right hand of God, who told the disciples: "I will never leave you or forsake you."
