Often in Paul's letters he speaks of the God of Peace. Jesus spoke a good deal of this peace of God, as it is a gift by the Spirit of God to every believer. To know Christ's rest, His peace, and the blessed calm of His presence, one must take Himl by faith as one's peace. As one is surrendered to Him, and is utterly dependent upon Him for all, He gives His peace, a peace that passes understanding.
