In the spiritual battle that is very real on this earth, the believer is constantly facing "the accuser of the brethren." Satan's tactics include not only condemning the believer, and making him to receive it, but to accuse him before God "day and night." There is but one remedy, and it is Christ, by the power of His precious blood, taking one's stand of belonging wholly to Christ in life or in death. In doing so, all ground is removed as a basis for the enemy to accuse. When God cleanses from sin, and justifies the believer, there is no more basis for accusation. It is then that the believer is to submit to God, and resist the devil, believing the certain promise that he must and will flee.
