It is the most logical of truths that because God IS love we should love Him not only first, but with our whole being. How is this possible? The answer lies in three words: aims, limits, possibilities. The believer is to aim at loving God with his whole heart. This is the objective. However, faith has its limits. We love in the measure that we can consistently trust and obey. But there are great possibilities of what God can do in answer to faith, beyond what we can ask or think.
