One of the great aspects of the message of the Gospel is that God, Christ, is not far off, but near. When by the Spirit of God, He comes to dwell in the heart, he becomes in one sense closer to the believer than the very air that he breathes. Living in the reality of His nearness becomes a conscious reality when one abides in Him by faith. Christ's presence becomes a moment-by-moment reality.
