When Holiness Becomes Obvious

In this sermon on 1 Peter 2:11–12, Stephen Davey explains that holiness becomes visible when believers live in alignment with their identity as God’s beloved people and temporary citizens in this world. This pursuit involves actively resisting sinful desires that wage war against the soul while also intentionally living honorable, attractive lives before others. Rather than withdrawing from the world, Christians are called to engage it with grace, integrity, and good works that withstand scrutiny. Davey emphasizes that when holiness is lived out consistently, it becomes a powerful testimony that God uses to draw others to Himself and bring Him glory.
