God puts within the hearts of men a thirst for Himself, a thirst for that which is good and holy. It is by the Spirit that He draws out the hearts of sinful, lost men, to seek that which God alone can give, the power to repent from sin, and turn to Christ only, and wholly for the power to believe and be saved. It is then that the miracle occurs when Christ saves the seeking soul by the power that He gives to believe.
