Bearing of fruit in the life means basically letting the life of Christ being revealed in the believer. The fruit of the Spirit is the fruit of Jesus' life, and this in either great measure or small. The will of God, according to the purpose of God in giving His Son to die on the cross for all men, was that Christ should be formed in the soul and heart of the believer, and manifested on this earth by faith through the life.
