When Christ died on Calvary, not only did He pronounce His work "finished," but it was by His declaration, completed perfectly. The work of redemption was done. Since then, it has been the will of God for that message and power to reach to the ends of the earth by His Spirit, working mightily in and through His church. Making disciples of all nations is the great objective, or mission Christ and His living body, the church.
