Christianity is not just a knowledge of the truth which concerns Christ, and that expressed by Him, by word and deed. It is a knowledge communicated by the Spirit, made real by Him, as one seeks to know Christ, and abide in Him by faith. In truly following Christ, Christ becomes to the believer an increasing reality as the Spirit reveals Him to the heart and soul.
