In OT times, only leaders received the Spirit. If you were a prophet, a judge, a priest, or a king you might receive the Holy Spirit to perform your duties. But the prophets looked forward to the day when the Holy Spirit would come upon all of God’s people.

About

For 35 years Jonathan Williams served as a teaching pastor, refining his skills as a teacher and storyteller. Now, he combines the two in his new broadcast Word of God, Speak! The truth of God’s word accurately taught, and the story of God’s word dramatically told for a world that thinks in stories and that needs to hear the true story of God, mankind, and God’s kingdom purpose for the world. This is Word of God, Speak!
