Jonah obeyed God and preached to Nineveh, but even after an extraordinary revival his heart remained far from God’s heart. This message follows God’s patient work through a plant, a worm, and a scorching wind to expose Jonah’s selfishness and teach him the value of compassion. Jonah cared deeply about temporary comfort while God cared about the eternal souls of an entire city.
