The day in which a lost sinner comes to faith in Christ, calling upon Him to be saved, turning to Him alone for salvation, is the day when the Father by the Spirit makes him a new creation in Christ. This is so because of the work of the Father to place the believer in living union with Christ. Christ becomes his life, and this eternally, never to be severed from Him.
