Revelation 20:14-15 might be the most tragic passage in all of Scripture, as it speaks of God’s final judgment toward unrepentant humanity. John Milton captured a little of the sorrow of hell in his famous work Paradise Lost, and Dante did the same in his classic work Inferno. Through graphic imagery and unforgettable poetry, these men have, in effect, taken us to the doorstep of hell and revealed the daunting message written upon the doorframe: "Farewell to hope." This is the fate of anyone whose name is not found written in the Book of Life.
This program is already assigned to that list.
