David Guzik continues in his series on the book of Jeremiah. Chapters 34 and 35 show us the contrast between those the punishment God has for those that break a covenant, and the blessing for those that keep God's word.
On this live question and answer video, David answers the question, “Should Christians ALWAYS Support the Jewish People?” Also, great questions about drawing the line regarding who we listen to and learn from, was Matthew’s gospel written in Hebrew, dealing with friends who become atheists, is it safe to visit Israel, what was the star that led the wise men, forgiving others, how to pray for David and Enduring Word – and more!
Continuing in the book of Jeremiah, we see the everlasting love of Yahweh for Israel and the glory of the new covenant. Join us in this message on Jeremiah 31 by Pastor David Guzik!
In this week's episode of Q&A we discussed questions about whether angels can still fall away, whether Christ judges our works after we have been saved or as a life in total, whether God still deals with nations through blessings or curses, what does Jesus mean when He says "if you were blind you would not have sin", and many more!
Starting his message series on the Gospel of John, Pastor David Guzik explains the first 18 verses, where we see how Jesus, the Word of God, is being presented to mankind.
Join us for this series in the gospel of John!
Going through chapter 30 of Jeremiah, Pastor David Guzik explains what the Time of Jacob's Trouble means, and how God wants to save Judah out of it. Join us for this series in the book of Jeremiah!
In this week's Q&A we talked about whether Cremation is a sin for Christians, how to pray through a preparation of a teaching and after, how people will be saved during the tribulation, whether a person who commits suicide was not truly saved, what the parable of the mustard tree means, and much more!
David Guzik continues in his series in the book of Jeremiah. We see the courage of the prophet who delivers his God given message. Even to the point where he faces death, but gets spared.
Psalm 136 is a special psalm, with each one of its 26 verses repeating the sentence, His mercy endures forever. Throughout the Hebrew Scriptures, the phrase has somewhat of a liturgical sense to it, as if the assembled people of Israel said or sung this in response to the direction of the Levites leading singing and worship. We picture a great multitude of the people of God gathered in the temple courts. A priest or Levite would call out a reason to give God thanks, and His people would respond with, “For His mercy endures forever.”
Consider how great the mercy of God is, as it is expressed in the person and work of Jesus Christ throughout this wonderful psalm!
Psalm 100 is a psalm of thanksgiving, and it speaks of an invitation to the whole earth to know and to worship God.
Pastor David Guzik gives the what and why of giving praise and the what and why of giving thanks.
