We often think lust is only a “boy issue,” but let’s not kid ourselves—girls struggle too. It may show up differently: emotional fantasies, obsession over attention, or romantic content. Lust is still sin. 2 Timothy 2:22 says, “Flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness.” Moms and dads, we need to talk to your daughters. Help them understand what purity means and why it matters. Point them to Jesus, not Hollywood. Ask, “What are you letting into your heart and mind?” Encourage friendships that build faith—not feed temptation. And dads—don’t stay silent. Model love, respect, and what it means to be cherished—not used.
Girls deal with lust too.
