Hebrews Chapters 10 and 11 teach us about faith as the means by which we receive the promises of God. Chapter 10 explains that the Old Testament law was only a shadow of the good things to come through Christ, who offers a single, perfect sacrifice for sins. It encourages us to hold onto our faith and meet with other believers to stir up love and good works. Chapter 11, known as the “hall of faith,” recounts the lives of those who lived by faith, from Abel to Abraham to Moses, demonstrating that faith is timeless and essential for pleasing God.
