Teens today are hearing hundreds of voices about who they are, how they should act, and what’s “true.” But only one voice matters: God’s. 1 Peter 2:9 says, “You are a chosen people...God’s special possession.” That’s your Christian teen’s identity. Not their social media profile. Not their popularity. God’s child. The world tells them to “follow their heart.” But Jeremiah 17:9 reminds us the heart can mislead. Teach them to filter emotions and choices through Scripture. Don’t just point out what’s wrong—celebrate what’s right. Let them know you see Christ in them when they stand for truth. Reinforce identity through love, time, and truth. In a culture that confuses everything, God’s Word still brings clarity. And your voice still matters.
