Our kids are growing up in a digital world—and even preschoolers can stumble onto sinful content with one wrong click. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” But we know from God’s Word that our kids aren’t born neutral. Because of the fall, their hearts are inclined toward sin. That’s why we don’t just shield their eyes—we shepherd their souls. Use filters and kid-safe apps—but more importantly, be present. When something questionable pops up, say, “Sweetie, that’s not pleasing to God.” Model repentance, grace, and discernment. Teach them that holiness flows from a heart changed by Christ. Start now—because what shapes them at four will guide their affections at fourteen.
Mommy, what is THAT?
