Family traditions are powerful—they shape what our kids remember about Christmas. So, what traditions point your family to Jesus? Some people bake a birthday cake for Him and sing “Happy Birthday, Jesus.” We read the Christmas story every Christmas Eve. Other families do service together—visit a neighbor, volunteer, or give to someone in need. Acts 20:35 says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” When we model that, our kids and grandkids see that Christmas is about giving love and the Gospel, not getting gifts. These traditions, simple as they are, remind our families that Jesus is at the heart of the season. Long after the decorations come down, those memories just might remind them that they need a savior—and that’s Jesus.
