Find out your child’s love language.

Author Dr. Gary Chapman has written a book called "The 5 Love Languages of Children". In case you’re not familiar with those love languages, they are physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, gifts, and acts of service. I don’t have to tell you, but every kid has a unique way he or she feels loved. When you know how to speak that language to them, Dr. Chapman says, you can build a solid foundation for your kid to trust you and flourish as they grow—as you fill the child’s “tank” with love, you’ll find kids well-adjusted and loved. If their tank is empty, it can mean trouble. Tomorrow, we’ll focus on physical touch.
